Wow. He beat a rerun of Glee and a rerun of One Tree Hill.
Funny thing with the fraud that is Jamie Oliver is that he’s all about healthy food and healthy choices and people being informed about food, yet at none of his restaurants can you find nutritional information even though the recipes are all his.
I find that hypocritical.
It’s not that I think restaurants should be held at gunpoint to post that information (although I do like it and I make sure to reward businesses that do show it on their menus), it’s just that for Oliver, who’s made a living telling everyone they need to be more educated about what they’re eating, this should be a no-brainer. He has a vehicle to teach people exactly what he’s preaching and he’s not doing it. That tells me 1 of 2 things.
1. He doesn’t believe what he’s saying and is using his “mission” to get publicity.
2. The food he’s pitching in his restaurants is just as shitty and bad for you as the stuff he’s telling you to stay away from and he’s hiding it.
It’s funny how when you have to practice what you preach, you suddenly miss out on that whole “practice” part.
