There will be times when this site accepts paid post requests from advertisers. I will post them and, when I’m able to I will disclose that they are sponsored directly on the post. When it’s not possible, they won’t be disclosed. Usually this is because it’s a violation of the advertiser’s requirements. I can’t help that.
I started taking ads in January of 2010. Why? Because, frankly, after 10 years of writing this blog, I need the money and if this site can make me a few extra bucks, I’m going to take the opportunity.
I hope you’ll understand.

1. I don’t necessarily endorse the product I’m advertising, although I may direct you to check it out as any other ad would do.
2. I’m not making a million dollars on this.
3. I haven’t given up on providing the content you’ve come to enjoy from this site; in fact, if the ads make me a few extra bucks, I can safely provide more and better content for all of you.
